About Tendo Hot Spring
Tendo hot spring is located at the center of Yamagata prefecture. The hot spring is on a basin surrounded by Zao peaks and Mt. Gassan. It is easy to access from Tendo Station where Yamagata Shinkansen (bullet trains) stops and Yamagata airport from which it takes only 15 minutes. This place is famous for production of Japanese chess pieces. Fruits picking is also very popular there.
About Tendo Hotel
Tendo Hotel is the largest facility in Tendo City. The hotel has one basement and 10 floors. You can see wonderful streetscape of Tendo City, and enjoy spectacular views of Zao peaks and Mt. Gassan. Accommodation capacity: 700 guests, Number of guest rooms: 125, Banquet halls: 19 halls (at maximum), Large baths: For males and females separately (They can accommodate 100 people in total. Also, there are open-air baths and sauna facilities.)

At the large bath in the first basement, you can relax yourself whole seeing the 3 stepped large waterfall. You can also use an open-air bath and sauna.
